Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 doz. eggs
1 lb. brown sugar or 2 c.
1 lb. butter
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 c. mixed candied fruit
1 box raisins
1 c. candied cherries (red and green)
1 box white raisins
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Combine eggs, sugar and butter (melted); mix well. Add flour. Mix well. Add vanilla. Add fruit, raisins and nuts; mix.
Pour into ungreased angel food cake pan.
Steam in a 6-quart canner with rack in bottom for 3 to 4 hours. Take off stove.
Remove from pan.
Cool overnight.
Remove from pan.
