Cranberry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. dates
1 c. whole cranberries
1 c. nuts
rind of 2 oranges, grated
Preparation

Mix grated oranges with flour and mix all together with rest of ingredients.
Fold in cranberries, nuts and dates.
Grease tube pan and flour.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
Mix 1 cup orange juice and 1 cup sugar together and pour over cake while hot.
Let set until cool, turning over a few times while cooling.
