Fresh Rhubarb Pie - cooking recipe

1 3/4 to 2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
4 c. fresh rhubarb, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
1 c. fresh orange or strawberries, cut up
3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Prepare pastry for 10-inch 2-crust pie.
Heat oven to 425\u00b0. Stir together sugar and flour.
Turn half the rhubarb and oranges/strawberries into pastry-lined pie dish.
Sprinkle with half the sugar mixture.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top pastry.
Seal and flute.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is brown.
