European Almond Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. eggs, separated
    1/2 lb. sugar (1 c.)
    1/2 lb. or 2 c. almonds, ground
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat yolks with sugar until creamy and thick.
    Add almonds; add flour and baking powder.
    Mix and stir.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold until creamed mixture.
    Line with wax paper three 9-inch layer pans and bake at 350\u00b0
    for 25 to 30 minutes.
