Peanut Butter Log - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. white sugar
1 c. white syrup
1 c. water
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

Use thick pan. Cook on medium heat. Let water, syrup and sugar boil until it turns to thread or hard-ball stage when dropped in cold water. Pour syrup mixture into the beaten egg whites slowly, beating until it starts to get thick. Then spread on waxed paper that you have sprinkled with powdered sugar. Then spread peanut butter on top of this. Using the paper to keep smooth, roll into a log. Chill in fridge until cool, then slice.
