Christmas Apple Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. apple juice
    5 drops red food coloring
    1 3/4 ? powdered pectin
    5 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine apple juice, food coloring and pectin in large saucepan.
    Bring mixture to full boil.
    Stir in sugar until it dissolves.
    Bring to boil again.
    Boil for 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat; skim if necessary.
    Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. Yields 7 half pints.
