Creamy Cole Slaw(Like Served At Cock Of The Walk) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage
vinegar
sugar
mayonnaise
milk or buttermilk
mustard, salt, pepper and poppy seed
finely chopped bell pepper
Preparation

Slice or chop one head of cabbage as fine as possible.
Mix equal amounts of vinegar and sugar; pour enough over cabbage to saturate well.
Let stand for several hours, preferably overnight, in the refrigerator.
Add mayonnaise and milk or buttermilk. Season with mustard, salt, pepper and poppy seed to taste.
Bell pepper, chopped very fine, is a nice addition.
