Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. peanuts, parched or chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, Karo and nuts until golden brown over medium heat, stirring often.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in soda until mixture foams.
    Pour onto aluminum foil.
    Let cool; break and eat.
