Cranberry Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cranberries, fresh or frozen
    1/2 c. dried cranberries
    1/4 c. amaretto liquor (or water)
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1-1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    4 oz almond paste (room temperature, must be soft)
    1/2 tsp. bitter almond extract or almond extract
    2-1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. (10 oz) unsalted butter
    6 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    2 hours before baking:
    Heat amaretto in small saucepan.
    Add dried cranberries.
    Let cool, stirring occasionally until fruit has soaked up all the liquid.
