Baked Alaska - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat the ingredients until glossy, but not dry.
    Place ice cream on top of prebaked cake; ice cream must cover top of cake. Coat completely with ice cream and bake at 500\u00b0 for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Ice cream will not melt!!!
