Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce, pulled
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. green onions, diced
    1/2 c. green pepper, diced
    10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, cooked, drained and cooled
    1 pt. mayonnaise
    3 tsp. sugar
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation
    Layer lettuce, celery, green onions, green pepper and peas. Spread mayonnaise on top and sprinkle sugar on top of mayonnaise. Layer Cheddar cheese and crumble bacon on top.
    Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
