Cushaw Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    3/4 c. sugar (I like brown)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    2 Tbsp. sorghum molasses
    1 1/4 c. whole canned milk or half and half
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and spices.
    Stir into eggs.
    Add cushaw, molasses and milk.
    Stir well to blend.
    Pour into unbaked 9-inch crust.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
    Bake 30 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.
