Green Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. green tomatoes
    3 qt. onions
    3 qt. bell peppers (green and red)
    3/4 c. canning salt
    1 pt. hot peppers or enough to suit your taste
    1/2 gal. vinegar
    8 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop all vegetables in large pieces.
    Mix together well and pour 3/4 cup canning salt over mixture.
    Let stand 2 1/2 to 3 hours, then drain real good.
