Velling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white rice
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
    dash of salt
    1/4 tsp. cardamon
Preparation
    Cook white rice.
    Take cooked rice and add 1 cup milk.
    Let rice absorb some of the milk and reheat slowly, but do not boil. Beat egg and add it to 1/4 cup milk; stir egg and milk mixture into rice.
    Add dash of salt and ground cardamon.
    Simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
    Serve hot with pancake or maple syrup.
    Some may like additional milk.
    Serves 2 to 3.
