Lasagna Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
    2 (32 oz. each) jars Prego sauce
    1 small can chopped mushrooms
    3 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated
    2 c. cottage cheese
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. each: salt and pepper
    9 lasagna noodles
    spices: minced garlic or powder, oregano, basil, crushed rosemary and parsley flakes
Preparation
    Remove sausage from casings or use bulk.
    Brown ground beef and sausage.
    Drain well.
    Add spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and spices.
    Add spices liberally to your taste.
    Simmer 2 to 3 hours. Cook noodles in boiling water until almost done.
    Remove from water and cool on waxed paper or foil for easy handling.
