Seafoam Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pears
    6 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped or 1 pt. Dream Whip
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    2 Tbsp. light cream
Preparation
    Drain juice from pears.
    Heat 1 cup of juice (if not one cup, add water to make 1 cup) to boiling point.
    Pour over jello and stir.
    Cool, but do not let set.
    Mix cheese and 1 tablespoon cream; add jello and beat with electric mixer until blended. Chill until partly thickened.
    Fold in mashed pears and Dream Whip or whipped cream.
