Brazil Nut And Date Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. Brazil nuts, pecans or walnuts
    1 lb. pitted dates
    3/4 c. drained maraschino cherries
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put nuts, dates and cherries into a large bowl.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt over nut mixture.
    Mix with hands until mixture is coated.
    Beat eggs until foamy. Add vanilla. Stir into fruit and nuts until well mixed.
    Pour into greased and waxed paper pan.
    Spread evenly. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes in a 300\u00b0 oven.
