Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 c. chopped onions
buttermilk

Preparation

Mix ingredients together and use enough buttermilk to make stiff batter.
Heat deep fryer.
Dip small spoons of batter and drop in grease.
Brown and drain.
