Uncooked Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 ground cabbages
    4 ground red sweet peppers
    4 ground sweet peppers
    12 medium onions
    8 ground carrots
    3 pt. vinegar
    1 tsp. whole mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
Preparation
    Place ground vegetables in a mixing bowl; cover with salt. Let stand for 2 hours; drain well.
    Add vinegar, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed.
    Heat just to boiling point.
    Do not cook. Seal in sterilized jars.
    Yield:
    6 pints.
