Ingredients

2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. melted butter
1/2 to 2/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 oz. chocolate or 3 Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation

Beat egg yolks, butter and sugar.
Add crumbs, salt and milk. Cook in double boiler until thick.
Add cocoa or melted chocolate. Beat about 1 minute.
Fold in vanilla and egg whites, beaten stiff.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until firm or a knife comes out clean.
Serve with whipped cream or chocolate sauce.
