No-Measure Beef Stew - cooking recipe

1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (9 oz.) envelope vintage herb salad dressing
1 lb. lean beef stew meat, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
2 large parsnips, sliced
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 large bell pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
Preparation

In a 3-quart casserole, combine tomato sauce and salad dressing mix.
Stir in beef, parsnips, potatoes and onions. Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Stir in the green peppers and celery.
Cover and bake another 50 to 60 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.
Stir well before serving.
