Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 gal. pot whole milk
    1 soup spoonful salt
    1 rounded baby spoonful pepper
    3 tsp. Schilling savor salt
    1/5 lb. butter
    1 to 2 qt. oyster meat
    butter (garnish)
Preparation
    Heat milk in double boiler until as hot as possible.
    Add salt, pepper and Schilling savor salt.
    Then add butter.
    When all are combined thoroughly, add oyster meat.
    Simmer 1/2 hour or until oysters surface.
    Skim off oysters and portion into serving bowls.
    Let milk mixture simmer 15 to 30 minutes longer, then ladle over oysters.
    Top each serving with pat of butter.
