Cream Cheese Cranberry Pie - cooking recipe

1 unbaked pie shell
1/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. whole cranberry sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Cook sugar, cornstarch and cranberry sauce until thick and clear; cool.
Blend cheese with 1/2 cup sugar and salt.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat well.
Add vanilla and milk.
Spread cold sauce over bottom of shell.
Pour cheese mixture on top and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce to 350\u00b0 and bake 50 minutes.
