Old Time Fruit Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 pt. raspberries, blueberries, cherries, peaches or blackberries
Preparation
    Mix every ingredient well.
    Add berries last.
    Bake in a greased and floured 8 x 8-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes. Recipe can be doubled for larger pan.
    Good plain or with milk or ice cream.
