Johnny Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
2 Tbsp. oil

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Bake in an 8 x 8-inch greased pan at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Recipe can also be used for muffins.
