Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter.
    Cook, stirring constantly, to 236\u00b0 or to soft ball stage.
    Add pecans and vanilla.
    Let cool to lukewarm.
    Beat until creamy, but still soft.
    Drop in mounds on wax paper.
