Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. melted margarine
    5 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 deep dish pie shell
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour together.
    Add melted margarine; mix well. Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk; mix well.
    Pour into pie shell (deep dish) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Test after 45 minutes by lightly touching about 2 inches from edge of crust.
    If firm, it's done.
    Makes 1 large or 2 small.
