Aunt Edie Vandale'S Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. raisins
2 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. butter
dough for 2 crust pie
Preparation

Boil raisins in 1 3/4 cups water for 5 minutes.
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
Moisten with remaining 1/2 cup water.
Add to raisins and stir until mixture boils.
Remove from heat.
Add lemon and butter.
Pour into unbaked 9-inch shell. Top with crust. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
