Freezer Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
celery as desired
green pepper as desired
onion as desired
carrots as desired
Preparation

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt over cabbage and let stand 1 hour; drain.
Dice and add celery, green pepper, onion and carrots.
Mix sugar, water, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed in saucepan and bring to boil.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Cool completely.
Pour mixture over cabbage.
Mix and freeze.
