Buffet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except potatoes.
    Heat until cheese is melted and all ingredients are mixed together.
    Pour over potatoes and blend.
    Pour the mixed ingredients into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour until bubbly.
    Use as a side dish or add ham for a main dish.
