Cowboy Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 onion, chopped
    4 green onions, chopped
    1/4 c. celery, chopped fine
    1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped fine
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped (with liquid)
    1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn (with liquid)
    1 (15 oz.) can Ranch Style beans
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    2 c. water
Preparation
    In heavy 5 or 6-quart Dutch oven or heavy cooker with lid, melt margarine, then add ground chuck and brown well.
    Add next 5 ingredients and saute in browned meat until soft.
    Add salt, pepper, chili powder and sugar and stir in well.
    Add tomatoes, corn, beans, cubed potatoes and water.
    Stir this all together and bring to boil, stirring frequently to keep from scorching.
    Turn down heat and cover.
    Simmer until potatoes are soft, about 30 to 40 minutes.
