Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 1/2 c. cooked whole kernel corn
oil, heated for deep fat frying
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
Beat eggs with milk. Add melted shortening and corn.
Combine 2 mixtures lightly.
Drop by tablespoon into shallow oil.
Fry until brown and cooked in center, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Drain on absorbent paper.
