Danish Puff Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. almond extract
    3/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    powdered sugar glaze
    sliced almonds
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut 1/2 cup butter into 1 cup flour until particles are the size of peas.
    (I use a food processor.) Sprinkle 2 tablespoons water over mixture and mix with a fork. Gather pastry to a ball.
    Divide in 2 halves; pat each half into a rectangle 12 x 3-inches on an ungreased cookie sheet.
