Pumpkin And Chocolate Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or oleo
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
2/3 c. pumpkin pie filling mix
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Preparation

Cream oleo, sugar and eggs in a large bowl.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
Divide the batter in half.
Combine 1/4 cup sugar and cocoa; add to about 1 cup mixture.
Blend in vanilla.
Spoon into greased 9-inch square pan.
Spread evenly and add the pumpkin pie filling and spice to remaining batter.
Spread on top of the chocolate mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edges of pan.
Cool in pan. Frost with Chocolate Glaze.
Makes 16 brownies.
