Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unpopped corn
    1 1/2 sticks oleo
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Pop and remove kernels.
    In a heavy saucepan, mix and boil for 5 minutes oleo, brown sugar and syrup.
    Remove from heat and add salt, cream of tartar and soda.
    Stir well (will foam).
    Pour over popped corn and mix well in a large pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour. Stir once or twice during the hour.
