Fettuccine With Butter Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 lb. fettuccine
    1/2 c. (1/4 lb.) butter
    salt to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Bring water and 1 tablespoon of salt to a rolling boil in a large pot.
    Cook fettuccine until just al dente.
    While fettucine is cooking, melt butter in a saucepan.
    Add salt, pepper, oregano and garlic.
    Simmer together on very low heat.
    Sprinkle drained fettuccine with cheese.
    Pour butter sauce over all and serve.
