Winter Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. cranberry juice
    1 tsp. cloves
    4 cinnamon sticks
    1 qt. ginger ale
    2 1/2 c. vodka
Preparation
    Place cinnamon sticks and cloves in cheesecloth and heat with cranberry juice in large pan; simmer 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and cool, remove spice bag.
    Pour into punch bowl, add vodka and ginger ale.
    Float block of ice.
    Makes 24 servings.
