Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. warm water
2 pkg. dry yeast
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
6 c. flour
Preparation

Mix warm water, sugar and yeast.
Let stand about 5 minutes. Add shortening and stir until melted.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Knead about 10 minutes or until dough is smooth and bubbles form under dough.
Let rise about 45 minutes in warm place. Punch down and shape into rolls.
Bake in greased 9 x 9-inch pans or 9 x 13-inch pan.
Let rise for about 20 minutes.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Rolls will have a hollow sound when thumped gently on bottom when done.
