Robert'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped seeded raisins
2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
2 eggs
Preparation

Put molasses, butter and sugar into a mixing bowl.
Add boiling water and stir well.
Let cool.
Add nuts, raisins, flour (sifted with baking powder), spices and salt.
Beat the eggs well and add.
Turn into greased and floured shallow pan and bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares. Also good served warm, but handle carefully.
