George'S Green Chile - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 lb. pork (cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
1 (28 oz.) stewed tomatoes (chopped)
2 (7 oz.) can chopped green chiles (mild)
1 (4 oz.) can chopped jalapeno peppers (hot)
1 medium size onion, diced (optional)
5 Tbsp. flour
5 c. water
cooking oil (as needed)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

In 6-quart pan, fry pork and onions in cooking oil until well browned.
Add flour and water and continue cooking.
Add tomatoes, chiles, 1/2 can jalapenos, garlic salt, pepper and red pepper; simmer until pork is well done and tender, adding more water and flour as needed to thin or thicken.
Can thicken with cornstarch, if desired.
Serve over burritos, eggs, rice, etc.
Can make hotter by adding more jalapenos.
