Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 boxes yellow cake mix, buttered
2 cans cherry pie filling
2 cans crushed pineapple, drained
2 large boxes vanilla instant pudding
2 bowls Cool Whip or 1 large bowl
2 pkg. pecan chips

Preparation

Bake cakes per directions; cool.
Start a layer of cake crumbled in a punch bowl, then cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, vanilla pudding (made per directions), Cool Whip and pecan chips.
Do this layering until all used up.
Top with cherries and nuts.
