Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 stick butter
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine flour, sugar and pepper.
    Cut butter into pieces and work into flour mixture until coarse and crumbly.
    Stir in cheese and milk just until dough comes together. Turn onto floured surface.
    Knead and pat down to a 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut biscuits and bake on greased baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
