Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. margarine, melted
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
2 unbaked pie crusts
whipped cream (optional)
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, combine first 9 ingredients; mix well.
Beat in sweet potatoes.
Pour into pie crusts.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0; bake 40 to 45 minutes longer or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool completely.
Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
Makes 12 to 16 servings.
