Raisin Whole Wheat Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. whole wheat bread, cut in 1 inch cubes and toasted
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. raisins
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. skim milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0. Place bread cubes in 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle with raisins. Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Stir in egg and vanilla. Heat milk; slowly stir into egg mixture. Pour over bread. Bake until tip of knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Makes 4 (1/2 cup) servings.
