Moussaka - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, minced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 large eggplant, cut in chunks and salted (do not peel)
    3/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion in butter.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Add cinnamon.
    Dilute tomato paste with 2 cans of water and add to mixture.
    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Rinse and drain eggplant. Simmer in boiling water for 10 minutes; drain.
    Arrange eggplant slices in shallow casserole dish.
    Add meat sauce.
    Cover with grated cheese.
