Crispy Corn Dogs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
3/4 c. corn meal
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
1 (16 oz.) pkg. hot dogs
vegetable oil for frying
Preparation

Combine flour, corn meal, sugar, mustard, baking powder and salt.
Add milk, egg and shortening.
Mix until smooth.
Pour mixture into a tall glass and dip hot dogs in one at a time.
Fry in vegetable oil heated to 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
