Orange Nut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. orange juice
    4 Tbsp. orange peel, grated
    3 c. flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and egg.
    Stir in milk, orange juice and orange peel.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into cream mixture; then blend in chopped nuts.
    Pour into well-greased loaf pan.
    Let it stand 20 minutes before baking. Bake for 50 to 70 minutes at 350\u00b0.
