German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 medium potatoes
6 slices bacon
1 minced onion
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
salt
pepper
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Cook potatoes until tender.
Drain, peel and slice.
Fry bacon and crumble.
Saute minced onion in bacon fat until softened.
Add bacon and onion to potatoes.
Add vinegar and water to drippings and bring to a boil.
Pour over potatoes and add salt, pepper and sour cream.
