Stained Glass Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. white corn syrup
1 c. water
powdered sugar
Preparation

Boil mixture to 300\u00b0 using candy thermometer.
Add coloring while boiling.
Remove from heat; add flavoring.
Pour mixture immediately into large bread pan with thick layer of confectioners sugar.
(Rinse down sides of pan with very hot water before candy hardens onto sides.)
Test corners to begin cutting with kitchen scissors.
Need at least two people to cut candy onto waxed paper before it becomes too hardened.
After cutting into bite size pieces, place in wire basket to shake off excess powdered sugar. Place in airtight containers.
