Frito Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. chili mix
    16 oz. tomato sauce
    1 medium onion
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    Fritos
Preparation
    Cook ground beef in skillet until just done; drain.
    Stir in chili seasoning and stir until mixed.
    Add the tomato sauce and cover; let simmer about 10 minutes.
    In a 2-quart casserole dish, place 1/2 of the chili.
    Chop the onion and spread over chili. Cover with a layer of Fritos and 1/2 cup cheese.
    Put remaining chili on casserole; top with a heavy layer of Fritos.
